Technology has been rapidly changing in the print world, and in turn, so has the related terminology. As modern technology is developed, new terms emerge and come into common usage while the old terms are retired to special editions of Trivial Pursuit.

To assist with all these words and definitions, we have compiled an extensive glossary of up-to-date commercial printing and graphic terms, with emphasis on those that reflect the services offered at TigerPress. Terms specific to processes no longer used at TigerPress (i.e. Blueline, Ruby) were deliberately omitted.
